EveryChildSeenBooks creates inclusive picture books where LGBTQIA+ children and families, and all those who have felt unseen, find joyful and affirming reflection. I write for the child still searching for themselves in the story, and for the adults who want to raise children rooted in empathy and pride. Grounded in lived experience and inclusive education research, these stories celebrate identity, belonging, and the courage to be fully yourself, because belonging is not something to earn, it is something every child already deserves, and every child should see their life and family honored on the page.

Who we are
Every Child Seen Books began with a simple truth, I did not see myself in the stories I read as a child.
As a gay man and an international educator, I understand how deeply it matters for children to see their identities and families reflected with honesty and pride. Through my work in diversity, equity, and LGBTQIA+ inclusion, I have witnessed how powerful it is when a child recognizes themselves on the page, when their shoulders lift and their voice grows stronger because they feel safe and seen.
Every Child Seen Books creates inclusive picture books that center LGBTQIA+ children and underrepresented families in joyful, affirming narratives. These stories are written for the child still searching for themselves in a book, and for the adults who believe that belonging is not something a child must earn, it is something they already deserve.
